What Features Are Only Accessible in the Root Group?

About Root Group

When you create a new account in the Allxon Portal, you are automatically placed in your own root group. Any groups you create within your root group, along with their child groups, are categorized as subgroups. Additionally, you may receive invitations from group administrators to join their root group or one of their subgroups.

Root Group vs. Subgroup

Our grouping hierarchy provides different levels of control over accessibility and functionality for users. Users in subgroups cannot view or access higher-level groups in the hierarchy. Certain features are exclusive to users in the root group:

• OTA deployment
• Provisioning playbook
• Subscription
• Add-device booster

If you belong to a subgroup and need access to these features, please contact your group administrator.
