Introduction

The Device Details Page is centralized platform for managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting individual edge devices. It provides real-time updates on power status, connectivity, and operational metrics, offering essential insights into the device’s performance. This guide covers the key functions available on the Device Details Page.

Main Page

The Device Details main page displays a detailed view of the device's current state, including power status, device connectivity, and essential settings. Users can monitor the device’s health, view alert logs, and access critical actions, such as rebooting or sending commands, all from one location. The page is divided into multiple sections:

  1. Overview
  2. Alerts
  3. Activities
  4. Plans & Usage

 Main Interface 

  1. Click on the Device icon in the navigation bar on the left and then select the device to enter the Device Details page.
  2. Click on the Edit icon to change the Device name.
  3. View the Device’s current status (online/offline)
  4. View the Devices serial number and click on the Copy icon to copy.
  5. Toggle between different tabs to view sections: Overview/Alert/Activities/Plan & Usage
  6. Click on the Reboot button to restart the device.
  7. Click on the three-dot menu to access more detailed options such as: View Device Profile/Apply Feedback/Link OOB Enabler and Delete Device.

Overview Tab

The Overview section provides a detailed view of the device's Current Power Status, Device and OOB Enabler information on the left panel. You can expand these sections for further information. The right panel lists the Actions taken for the device.

Current Power Status

The Current Power Status section displays the device's power and connectivity information. Check the Device Connectivity Status column to see if the device is online or offline. The Power Detection column indicates whether the device is connected and powered on. Then go to the Power Scheduling and Always ON column to manage power Always ON preferences.

The Connectivity button shows the Device Status timeline, providing a detailed log of the device’s online and offline history, allowing you to see when it was operational. You can also use the Date button to filter and review specific dates. Finally, the Power Status button provides a detailed log of the device’s power activity, showing its power on/off history.

Device

The Device section details the system's operational parameters and network configuration. Here, you can view and edit the Time ZoneClock Offset, and System Temperature, which offer key insights into the device’s environment. Additionally, it displays real-time resource usage, including Memory UsageCPU Usage, and System Storage Availability, helping administrators monitor performance.

You can also find Network details, such as the device's Network Name, MAC Address, and IP Address, providing vital information for troubleshooting or managing network connections. Finally, click on View More Information to explore advanced device statistics.

OOB Enabler

The OOB Enabler section shows essential details regarding the device’s out-of-band management capabilities. Configurable options like Time Zone and Clock Offset to help synchronize the device's internal clock with external systems. The MPU column specifies the processor model, and the Firmware Version column displays the most up-to-date firmware currently installed.

View the device’s network configuration under Network (Name/ Mac Address/ IP Address) for network monitoring and diagnostics. Finally, click on View More Information to explore more advanced device details.

Actions Section

The Actions panel provides you with a set of remote controls for managing and interacting with your device. From this section, you can Send Command, Take Screenshot, or use the Cloud Serial Console (a new feature) for advanced troubleshooting and monitoring. Additionally, you can retrieve device details using the Get Device Logs option. 

Alert Tab

The Alert section provides a comprehensive overview of any system or device issues that have been triggered, acknowledged, or resolved. You can monitor real-time alerts for your device, allowing for quick identification of critical events. The alerts are categorized into three tabs: TriggeredAcknowledged, and Resolved, to help you track the status and progress of each alert.

Filters are available to sort alerts by Source and Category, making it easier to pinpoint specific issues. To configure alert settings, simply adjust preferences in Edit Group Settings.

Activities Tab

The Activities section provides a log of all activities related to the device's operations. You can view details such as Over-the-Air (OTA) artifact deployments, provisioning activities, and other important actions. Each activity is timestamped and includes the operator responsible for the action, allowing you to track changes and updates over time and ensure clear visibility of the device's operational history.

Search for specific activities or operators in the Search Bar, click on the Filter button to narrow down activities by Command Status (Processing/Success or Failed), or click on the Date button to view activities on specific dates.

Plan & Usage Tab 

The Plan & Usage section provides an overview of your current subscription and usage capabilities for the device. On the left panel, you can check your Subscription Plan status, with options to upgrade. Additionally, any active subscription codes and their expiration dates are listed, giving you clear insight into trial periods or premium features under Subscription Code. Click on the Redeem button to enter your subscription code and activate enhanced features on Allxon portal.

On the right panel, the Action Overall Usage section displays a summary of available operations such as device reboots, sending commands, taking screenshots, and more. Each action includes a usage limit tracker to help you manage your allocated resources efficiently. This section is crucial for monitoring the available functions and ensuring that you're using your plan’s features to their full potential.
