Introduction
Resetting the OOB Enabler involves restoring its configuration to the default settings. This process securely clears all data, ensuring it is ready for new configurations. Follow the steps in this guide to reset your OOB Enabler effectively.

Before initiating the reset process, ensure the following:

Verify OOB Enabler is disconnected: Ensure the OOB Enabler has been replaced or deleted from your customer’s group

Activate Hardware Vendor Zone Permission: Inform Allxon of your need to reset the OOB Enabler. Allxon will enable the necessary permissions for you to proceed.
Step 1: Navigate to Hardware Vendor Zone
After permissions are granted, click the profile icon at the top right of Allxon Portal and click “Hardware Vendor Zone.”
Step 2: Enter OOB Serial Number and PIN Code to Reset
- In the Reset OOB Enabler section, fill in the OOB Serial Number and PIN Code of the OOB Enabler.
- Click “Reset” to initiate the reset process.
- After a successful reset, a confirmation message appears. Additionally, the Reset History section displays the details of your reset activity.
Step 3: Re-flash the Firmware or Clean up the Local Cache of OOB Enablers
After resetting the OOB Enabler, it is essential to either re-flash the OOB enabler firmware or clean up the OOB enabler local cache to ensure the device is ready for new configurations without interference from outdated settings.
